Point Of Sale

Point of sales systems have revolutionized the restaurant industry, particularly in the fast food sector. In the most recent technologies, registers are computers, sometimes with touch screens. The registers connect to a server, often referred to as a "store controller" or a "central control unit." Printers and monitors are also found on the network. Additionally, remote servers can connect to store networks and monitor sales and other store data.

The customer enquiry is keyed in with the specifications and sample details. The costing sheet gives facilities to work out the cost for manufacturing the sample for differing quantities and break ups of raw materials and process involved.

The sample critical dates are established for various type of samples to schedule and track down the production and shipment of the samples.
Quotation can be generated on the fly from the inputs moved from costing sheet and editing information only where it is necessary.

Client orders are registered and corresponding internal orders are generated and issued to the production and stores department.Production in-charge can raise indent based on the production schedule and routing sheet. The routing sheet gives facilities to allocate material, machine and men facilitating the completion of order.

Fabric requisition, spreading, marking, cutting, sorting, numbering and bundling is tracked on a shift to shift or on a day to day basis. Data becomes available once it is entered on the system from any terminal connected to the network.

Machining, special machining works are tracked for the status of the work completion, rejection and productivity reports can be generated.

Trim requisition, issue and use of them in end product are recorded yielding orderwise, shiftwise, day wise reports. The reports can be useful in tracking the cost of manufacturing for each and every item in the order to a group of products using similar trims.
